Why is the engine of my BMW 6 Series struggling to start in colder temperatures?

I recently noticed that my BMW 6 Series is having trouble starting in colder temperatures. The engine seems to struggle and it takes longer than usual to start up. What could be causing this issue?

This could be due to a low battery charge. Cold temperatures can cause the battery to lose its charge more quickly, making it difficult for the engine to start. Try charging or replacing your battery.

Another possible cause could be a faulty starter motor. If the starter motor is weak or failing, it can struggle to turn over the engine in cold temperatures. Consider having it checked and replaced if necessary.
