Why is the engine of my BMW M9 making a rattling noise?

I have noticed a rattling noise coming from the engine of my BMW M9. It only occurs when the car is idling and goes away when I accelerate. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

It is possible that the rattling noise is coming from a loose component in the engine. I would recommend taking your BMW M9 to a mechanic for a thorough inspection.

Another possible cause could be low oil levels in your engine. Check your oil levels and if they are low, be sure to top them up. If the noise persists, it is best to have a professional check it out.
