How can I improve handling in my BMW M2?

I recently bought a BMW M2 and I'm having trouble with the handling. It feels too stiff and not as responsive as I expected. I've heard some people mention suspension upgrades, but I'm not sure if that will make a significant difference. Any suggestions?

Hi Rachel, congratulations on your new M2! The handling can definitely be improved with some upgrades, but it ultimately depends on your driving style and preferences. If you're looking for a more comfortable ride, I would recommend upgrading to coilovers with adjustable dampers. This will allow you to fine-tune the suspension to your liking. On the other hand, if you're looking for better performance and a more aggressive stance, you can opt for lowering springs and upgraded sway bars. I suggest doing some research and test driving different setups to see which one suits you best.

Hey Rachel, I have a few more specific recommendations for you. To improve handling, I would suggest getting stiffer control arm bushings, a strut tower brace, and an adjustable anti-roll bar. These upgrades will improve rigidity and reduce body roll, resulting in better handling. Additionally, make sure your tires are properly inflated and in good condition. Good luck and enjoy your M2!

Hi Rachel, I used to have the same issue with my M2 until I upgraded to performance brake pads and rotors. The stock brakes can struggle to keep up with the power and weight of the car, so upgrading to a more robust set can greatly improve handling and braking. Also, make sure to get an alignment done by a reputable shop. It's a small but crucial step in improving handling. Hope this helps!
