I recently purchased a BMW X2 and I've noticed that the automatic headlights seem to be too sensitive, turning on even when there's still enough daylight. Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic headlights?
ReplyThere are a couple of ways to adjust the sensitivity of your BMW X2's automatic headlights. You can do so through the iDrive menu by navigating to 'Settings' > 'Vehicle' > 'Lighting' > 'Light sensitivity'. From there, you can choose between 'Low', 'Medium', or 'High' sensitivity levels. Alternatively, you can also use the light switch on the dashboard to manually adjust the sensitivity.
I had the same issue with my X2, Maria. I found that the light switch on the dashboard has a 'DRL' setting, which stands for 'Daytime Running Lights'. This setting adjusts the sensitivity of the automatic headlights. Try toggling it to see if it makes a difference.
