How do I maintain the battery life of a BMW i8?

I've recently purchased a BMW i8 and I'm wondering how I can prolong the battery life of the vehicle. Any tips or techniques would be greatly appreciated.

First and foremost, make sure you're charging your car properly. Don't charge it all the way to 100%, as this can strain the battery life. It's recommended to keep it between 40-80%

Another thing you can do is avoid using the high performance mode too often. This mode uses more battery power and can also put strain on the battery life. Use it sparingly if possible.
