How do I reset the BMW iX infotainment system?

I recently purchased a used BMW iX and the infotainment system is acting up. It freezes and won't respond to any input. How can I do a full reset of the system?

Hi Samantha, sorry to hear about the issue with your infotainment system. To do a full reset, press and hold the volume button on the iDrive controller for about 25 seconds. This will reboot the system and should resolve any freezing or unresponsiveness. Give it a try and let us know if it works for you!
