How do I reset the BMW X3 navigation system?

I accidentally entered the wrong destination in my BMW X3 navigation system and now it's redirecting me every time I start the car. How can I reset the system and clear the destination?

To reset the BMW X3 navigation system, press and hold the iDrive controller until the BMW emblem appears on the screen. Then release the controller and press and hold the controller again until the screen changes. Select "Restart navigation system" and confirm.
