To reset the engine oil light on your BMW 5 Series, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the car. 2. Press the TRIP button until the OIL SERVICE menu appears. 3. Press and hold the TRIP button again until the RESET menu appears. 4. Press and hold the TRIP button again to confirm the reset. The engine oil light should now be reset.
