To reset the oil service light, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine. 2. Press and hold the odometer reset button until the first service symbol appears. 3. Release the button and then press and hold it again until the second service symbol appears. 4. Release the button and then press and hold it again until the third service symbol appears. 5. Release the button and then press and hold it again until the cluster lights up. 6. Release the button and turn off the ignition. 7. Your oil service light should now be reset.

Another way to reset the oil service light is to use the iDrive system. Go to the vehicle menu and select 'Vehicle Status'. Scroll down to the 'Service Required' option and press the 'Reset' button. Select 'Yes' when prompted and your oil service light should be reset.

If you're still having trouble resetting the oil service light, it may be best to take your car to a BMW dealership for assistance.
