How often should the oil be changed in a BMW X6?

I just bought a used BMW X6 and I'm not sure when the previous owner changed the oil. Should I change it immediately or can it wait a bit? How often should the oil be changed in a BMW X6?

In general, it is recommended to change the oil in a BMW X6 every 10,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first. However, if you do a lot of city driving or drive in extreme conditions, it may be beneficial to change the oil more frequently.
