Is the BMW M2 equipped with a dual-clutch transmission?

I'm considering purchasing a BMW M2 and I was wondering if it comes with a dual-clutch transmission. I've never owned a car with this type of transmission before and I want to know if it's worth the extra cost and potential maintenance.
