What is the recommended type of oil for the BMW M3?

I just bought a BMW M3 and I am wondering what type of oil should I use for optimal performance and engine health? Any recommendations?

It is recommended to use synthetic oil with a high viscosity, like 0W-40, for the BMW M3. It provides better protection and performance compared to conventional oils.

I've had great experience with using a full synthetic 5W-30 oil for my BMW M3. It's a good balance between performance and cost. Also, make sure to regularly check your oil level and change it according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

I've been using a blend of synthetic and conventional oil, 5W-40, for my BMW M3 and it has been performing well. Make sure to also check for any leaks or abnormal oil consumption.
