What type of tires should I use on my BMW M2?

I recently bought a BMW M2 and I'm not sure what type of tires would be best for it. The car comes with performance tires but I'm not sure if those are the best option for everyday driving. Can anyone provide some insight on what type of tires to use and if it's worth upgrading to a different type?
