Why does my BMW 6 Series produce a loud noise when turning?

I recently purchased a BMW 6 Series and have noticed that when making turns, there is a loud noise coming from the wheels. It sounds almost like a grinding or scraping noise. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my car?

Based on your description, it sounds like your wheel bearings may need to be replaced. It's not uncommon for them to wear out over time and produce loud noises when turning. I would recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic to have them check and replace the bearings if needed.

Another possibility could be a problem with your steering system. It's best to have your car inspected by a professional to determine the exact cause of the noise. Avoid driving for too long before having it looked at to prevent any potential safety issues.

I had a similar issue with my BMW 6 Series and it turned out to be a loose lug nut. It's always a good idea to regularly check your tire pressure and make sure all lug nuts are tightened properly to avoid any issues like this.
