How do I reset the trip counter on my BMW X7?

I accidentally reset the trip counter on my BMW X7 and now I can't figure out how to reset it. Do I need to take it to a dealership or can I do it myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Samantha, to reset the trip counter on your BMW X7, all you have to do is press and hold the trip button on the instrument cluster until it resets. No need to take it to a dealership, it's a simple fix!
